Note: The chicks have now fledged. They were out of the nests for the day. Just did a fly around and landed in the nest for the night. Proud Poppa near by watching. Think Poppa had been teaching them the ropes of being an osprey.

Note: This nest yielded 2 chicks who have fledged and are feeding themselves. Not sure if adult father is still around. One of the chicks was on the nest earlier this AM.

Note: The two Mitchell nest osprey chicks are perched on the boat lift close to where the nest is. They are on their own now, fish and feed themselves. I know it won’t be long before they leave us for parts unknown.
